As a traveller, when we plan a trip, we usually think about beaches, palaces, activities, mountains, cuisine or history. But ever imagined exploring India’s richest districts? A recent ranking based on GDP per capita, compiled by InfraMantra, offers an interesting look at places which are India’s economic powerhouses. Many of them are also among the country’s most fascinating places to visit dotted with some of the most famous attractions in the world.
One of the most interesting aspects of the list is the diversity. Rangareddy district in Telangana topped the chart with an estimated GDP per capita of around ₹11.46 lakh. For travellers, this means these destinations are not only economic powerhouses but also benefit from better roads, airports, hotels, and overall tourism infrastructure.
