Over time, the idea has become so popular that it is often reduced to a simple formula: do good, good things happen; do bad, bad things happen. But the concept of karma is far more layered than the internet often makes it seem. Different Indian philosophical traditions explain it in different ways, and many everyday beliefs about karma are actually oversimplifications.
