’14 Peaks’ mountaineer Nirmal Purja dies in Broad Peak avalanche
Legendary Nepal-born mountaineer Nirmal “Nims Dai” Purja has died after an avalanche struck his expedition on Broad Peak in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, ending a two-day search operation. Tougher anti-paper leak law comes into force across India
The Centre’s amended anti-paper leak law has come into effect after receiving Presidential assent, introducing stricter punishment and faster investigations into public examination fraud.
