All you need to do is, spread a tissue paper and spray some water on it. Heat the sandwich maker for 10-12 seconds, switch off, unplug and then use the warm tissue to clean the greasy surface and stains. Make sure to wear kitchen gloves for safety. The moisture helps loosen the stains and greasy residue, making it easy to clean. The tissue paper may absorb some of the loosened oil and moisture. As a result, wiping the plates afterward becomes easier. However, tissue paper is not designed to withstand high cooking temperatures. So, make sure you don’t heat it for more than 10-12 seconds.
