Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly leased three floors of a commercial building in Mumbai’s Andheri West. A nutrition brand has taken the premises on a five-year agreement. According to property registration documents accessed by Zapkey, the deal involves three upper floors of the Signature building on Link Road in Oshiwara. The lease commenced on August 15, 2026. The combined carpet area of the three floors is approximately 8,428 sq ft. The arrangement gives the tenant access to a sizeable commercial space in one of Mumbai’s prominent areas. The leave and licence agreement was registered on August 7, 2026. The transaction adds to Amitabh Bachchan’s association with Mumbai’s high-value property market.
Amitabh Bachchan to earn Rs 33 lakh every month
The nutrition brand will reportedly pay Rs 33 lakh as monthly rent for the leased premises. Based on the total carpet area, the rental rate works out to nearly Rs 392 per sq ft per month. The five-year agreement could generate approximately Rs 21.88 crore in total rent. The arrangement also includes a provision for an annual increase in the rental amount. According to the documents, the rent will increase by 5% every year during the lease period. This escalation clause will raise the monthly payment over the course of the agreement.
Lease includes nine parking spaces
The agreement also provides the tenant with exclusive access to nine designated parking spaces within the building. The nutrition brand has reportedly paid Rs 1.98 crore as a security deposit as part of the arrangement. The deposit forms another major component of the commercial transaction. The leased premises are spread across three floors of the Signature building. Their combined area gives the tenant considerable space for its business operations. The Andheri West location is another notable aspect of the deal. The area has a mix of commercial developments, offices and residential properties, making it an active real estate market in Mumbai.
