NEW DELHI: The BJP on Monday announced its new team of national office-bearers, with party leader Smriti Irani and Rajasthan veteran Vasundhara Raje Scindia among those given key organisational responsibilities.Raje has been appointed national vice president for Rajasthan, while Irani has been named a national general secretary for Uttar Pradesh.The list includes former chief ministers, former ministers and senior organisational leaders from across the country.It also includes Tirath Singh Rawat, Manpreet Singh Badal, Ram Madhav, Baijayant Jay Panda and D Purandeshwari among the national vice presidents.Raje’s appointment is among the prominent changes in the new team. The former Rajasthan chief minister has previously served as BJP national vice president and held several senior responsibilities within the party.
