The couple began their relationship after meeting each other at a TV studio in 2014, when Giambruno was the presenter of a news programme aired by Mediaset, part of the MFE media group owned by the heirs of the late Silvio Berlusconi, a former prime minister and Meloni ally.The pair welcomed Ginevra in 2016 and remained together for nearly a decade before a public split in October 2023. In 2023, Meloni announced a separation from Giambruno through a social media post following the circulation of videos that showed him making inappropriate remarks.In the clips, Giambruno propositioned a co-host to a “threesome or foursome” which led to the suspension of his television show.
