The US Department of State announced that as of June 5, 2026, all available FY 2026 EB-5 Unreserved immigrant visas for applicants chargeable to India had been issued after India reached its annual per-country limit in this category.This means additional visas in the Unreserved EB-5 category for Indian applicants cannot be issued until the next fiscal year’s visa numbers become available, unless an applicant qualifies under one of the visa set-aside categories established under the EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act.The growing interest in the EB-5 program reflects a broader shift in how skilled Indian professionals view international mobility.
