According to ESPN, 57-year-old Mia was taken to a hospital and is now in stable condition. Eric Bieniemy was with the Chiefs at training camp in St. Joseph, Missouri, when the incident happened. The Chiefs confirmed they are aware of the situation, while Loudoun County authorities said one person suffered serious injuries but did not publicly identify the victim.

Following the incident, Eric Bieniemy left the Chiefs to be with his family and did not attend Monday’s training camp practice.The Chiefs also released a statement to ESPN, saying, “We are aware of an incident involving Eric Bieniemy’s family.” The team did not share further details.Loudoun County authorities told ESPN that officers responded to the home after receiving reports of a shooting. They confirmed that one person was being treated for serious injuries but did not officially name the victim. As of now, officials have not released more information about what led to the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing.
